Proceedings of an ARLAC workshop on Employment Injury Compensation Schemes, conducted at the ARLAC Campus (Harare, Zimbabwe) from 24 - 28 August 2015. The workshop was supported by the ILO RBTC.

The objectives of the workshop were to:

  1. define employment injury benefits and identify their economic rationale, essential features, basic types, and the international standards embodied in the ILO Conventions;
  2. explore the development of an agenda for strengthening employment injury schemes; and to 
  3. suggest a set of priorities for the reform and strengthening of employment injury compensation schemes.
