At its 39B ARLAC Governing Council Meeting in June 2013, it was approved that Mr. Daniel Eyewumi Neburagho be offered a contract at the helm of the ARLAC Secretariat.

Mr. Daniel E. Neburagho holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria; a Masters in Industrial and Labour Relations from the University of Ibadan. Nigeria; and a post -graduate diploma in Population, Environment and Sustainable Development from the University of Botswana in Gaborone, Botswana.

Until his appointment, Mr. Neburagho has had a distinguished career and enviable track record in the Nigerian Civil Service spanning over 25 years most of which were in the field of Labour Administration. He was a Special Assistant to the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Labour and Productivity and the Deputy Director - Productivity Measurement and Standards in the Ministry. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria; the Nigerian Industrial Relations Association; and the International Industrial Relations Association, Germany. Furthermore, he has been a key figure in the Governing Body of the International Labour Organisation, the African Union Labour and Social Affairs Commission and the African Commission for Human Rights, where he served as a Nigerian delegate for many years.
